Stratos is the only company in the United States that is in business solely to produce turn-key competition-type fleet / rental karts. Our roots reach back to England in 1974, and we were among the most successful of the fledging European "Indoor Kart" manufacturers when we relocated to better focus on the United States market in 2001. Since then we have sold hundreds of karts annually to dozens of satisfied fleet owners all over the world, and have earned the repeat business of some of the largest and most profitable Indoor Centers in the country. |

What type of karts do you sell? Our in-house designed and built 4130 chromoly chassis have layouts similar to a lightweight competition racing go kart, but are constructed more durably to withstand the rigors of indoor and fleet use. A sliding adjustable seat and adjustable foot pedals are standard, with a head rest hoop and safety belt available as options. All karts come standard in turn-key running form with a four-cycle Honda GX-270 engine making approximately 11 HP at 5500 RPM. |

How much do they cost? The base iS_09 is $5,795; options can typically add $350 - $500. Volume discounts apply to purchases of 30 units or more. Our unique position as a U.S. manufacturer allows us to offer a superior product at typical savings of 25% - 40% over European brands. |

How fast do they go? All karts are shipped standard with an 11HP four-cycle Honda engine and 5.10:1 final drive ratio that gives a top speed of 29 - 31 MPH, depending upon the tire size used. Additional belt pulley ratios are available that will allow for speeds in excess of 60 MPH. |

What else do you sell? More than just a kart manufacturer, Stratos offers complete indoor and outdoor karting center solutions, from Customer Check-in / Point-of-Sale & timing to barriers and course layout consulting. A majority of our components are designed and made in-house, and our Parts Department is fully stocked to ship to your Karting Center direct from our warehouse in southern California, no matter what brand of fleet you own. We also offer select parts for individual racers and enthusiasts. |
